Fransisca was one of the most popular girls in our school and she was my senior at my high school time. I still remember back then during the break time all the boys from my class and I could see boys from other classes too, standing by the windows, lining just to see popular sisca as she passed by. Hahaha. I have known and adored sisca since I was in high school and when sisca came to me with her beloved hakim (dung-dung) I was super excited and surprised. Definitely honored too to be able to capture our school celebrity! haa haa
Spending the days working on the sessions and doing the sessions, I really get to know them very close. I never really have expected the “delicate, slim and very feminine” sisca to be a girl who is able to eat a lot (oh yes, i really mean a lot, a lot!), to be able to eat with her hands and even burp when we drank our beers. hahaha.
On our dinner in Bintan, dung-dung told me a story that made me laugh so hard; on their very first dates back then when they went out for dinner, dung-dung as every other guy would ask, “dear, what would you like to order?” and sisca like every other girl would answer, “anything honey, just don’t order too much. I’ll just share with you.” The food came. Dung-dung was practically shocked by how much sisca could eat as sisca is really a very small, slim girl. He just never thought that she has such a good appetite. On the next date, the same situation happened again, but this time dung-dung said, “Please order more, it’s not that I am cheapskate. Please just order your own food. It’s just that I have never felt stuffed every time we went out on a dinner and you mostly ate 3/4 of my portion and I only get to enjoy a quarter of my own portion. So please, please just order as much as you want. I’m always hungry after dinner every time I go out on a dinner with you.” Hahaha. I laughed so hard that I choked! Hahaha.
Meeting them is like seeing a rabbit mating with a turtle. Dung-dung being the rabbit, sisca being the turtle. Dung-dung always wants things to be done quick and painless, on the other hand sisca prefers to do every single things calm, careful and with contemplation. At least that is what I’ve been seeing spending an awesome week with them. So when dung-dung is doing things in a very quick pace, there will be sisca who will keep on reminding him to think calm. They’re just fated to be made for one and another.
Dung-dung is a very romantic guy and a mentor to look on to. I learnt a lot from him. He taught me how to lead a good life, love-wise and career-wise and I couldn’t be thankful enough to him. The three of us certainly had a lot of fun and Singapore + Bintan definitely was filled of love those days! And like siska always love to say after we finished a session, “it’s a wrap!” haha
