A little while ago we had the opportunity to shoot Waty + Idu’s wedding in The City Hall Club Medan. Waty is a landscape architect and has a great taste in art. We first met over coffee and talked for good two hours over weddings and marriage. It was this wedding that sparked my deep love for interracial weddings, the mix of culture and beliefs, reminding how our Lord created differences to unite. We love how simple and pure, impulsive laughters from friends and cousins intact through the whole wedding.
Waty + Idu is definitely an inspiration for our work, having the opportunity to shoot these two humans who were head over heels for each other. The laughters were music to the ears, the kisses hugs everyone’s heart making the most wonderful background for the wedding, it was a good day.
