Keep my mind asking myself, why am I here?
There are thousands of questions pop up in my mind whenever I shoot a wedding. A simple question that I frequently asked myself was “why am I here?”. Of course on paper it will be me, shooting a wedding. But why me? Out of so many talented photographers out there, it should be something that make my picture, mine. My style of shooting.
But am I good enough?
There will always be doubt in myself about the photographs I took. The stories I made. Does it tell the story right?
I try to be honest as a three year old observing the moment right as they’re happening. See things that excite me, because I know it’s gonna excite them too, people they love. Gone are the days when I wait for the perfect pose or the perfect light that I’m sure will be a very rare chance to ever happen. But those laughter, joy and tears are real. Pure and honest.
That’s gonna make my stories different.
