We have often heard of how love bedazzles and reduces someone to utter state of stupidity. The classic love-is-blind or lovefool sentiment is so commonplace that you can’t help but compare being in love with gambling. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. There are risks, but bottom line is , you have to give it a try.
Call me a hopeless romantic, but instead of thinking it as a game of risks, I’d rather think of it as an investment. There’s a hope in the sense that you don’t just blindly venture into it, but instead, you assess it with care and slowly pour your time, energy, and resources to foster and grow it.
True, it might be false love and you might lose, but only if you allow yourself to think of it that way. In truth, you always stand a chance to gain something if you dare yourself to try and accept another person. And when in the odd chance that you infact stumble across real love, the reward can be immense.
Just like all the winning couples, Darmawan and Francisca are those who dared themselves in the love quest. They both are exemplary individuals who go through a process of maturity and value each other as if they just won the lottery. For that I can say, what a worthy investment indeed.
