To start off, Yelvi the bride used to be my schoolmate. Yet I had no recollection of being in the same school with her! To be honest, I practically couldn’t recognize this gorgeous lady during our first encounter. She must have been just as beautiful back then, I’m sure.
For Okta, the groom – he was introduced to Yelvi by a mutual friend. He had no problem falling for her right away and long story short, a couple was born. There’s no doubting that these two were made for each other, him with the cheeky and goofy attitude and her with the megawatt smiles ready to cheer him on.
Yelvi’s family came from a long line of traditional service in Medan’s wedding industry, providing premium betrothal ceremony equipment under the Santun label. But you could say that tradition is one thing, but celebrating is another, because these guys certainly went all out to send off their beloved daughter in style.
Needless to say, the wedding itself was a generous, fun and a loving affair. The radiance of joy and songs of laughter were so palpable you could almost sense it in your skin, it was a superb feeling indeed. Everyone in the room could also tell that this celebration is as important as it is jovial.
As for me, I got the perfect shots of those extra cheerful moments, including the one of the bride’s father rocking the dancefloor. Check them out and I’m sure they’d send that infectious smiles across your face.
