The dawn barely broke and sleep still enveloped the realm. But in the cozy hotel room where I was shooting that day, Ade was already wide awake- having her face brushed to perfection by the trusted makeup artist she appointed for the most important day of her life.
Shortly after, I was rushing to El’s side to capture his preparation for the day. Suave and cool looking, I already knew this couple is going to be one of my most favorite wedding muses. Sure enough, the day continued with more parade of grandeur, loveliness and most importantly, genuine emotion.
There is something about wedding ceremony, regardless of traditions or religions, that resonates so much with pure emotions. To me, it’s sacred time like this that makes my heart sings and my camera does what it does best- eternalizing the rare and raw flood of emotions. It was definitely a real treat.
More treats ensued as the day unfolded into an evening of luxurious wedding delight. Ade was cladded in absolutely beautiful dresses from Anne Avanti to Anaz Official while El looked equally dapper in his matching suit. The elegant wedding venue was brought to life by DeLavender decoration who never fails to bring their best in creating extraordinary wedding atmospheres for any couple.
Speaking of all things best, El and Ade too is a fine example of it. Having known each other for quite a while, the lovebirds were first work buddies and lovers next. Ade personally told me that she knows her man inside out, all the best and worst of him. So there you have it, a pair of soulmates who are beyond comfortable with one another. Now, that is the best kind there is.
