Love is a game of hit and miss, of random chances and uncertainty. Take Jimmy and Lydia for example. Once childhood friends, these two were only to be reunited many years later through mutual friends.
Both adults by then, Jimmy took interest in the ever lovely Lydia, but they were already well on their own separate ways .Lydia was heading to Singapore to pursue her studies while Jimmy stayed on.
Still, our guy pressed on, making countless trips to Singapore to pursue the girl of his dream. And that was just one of the many efforts that Jimmy invested in the relationship. Lydia confessed to loving this side of Jimmy the most. Through thick and thin, there is always the amazingly sweet Jimmy, keeping her happy. Patience is definitely one of the perks of long distance relationships right?
I guess both Jimmy and Lydia would have never in a million years thought that this childhood friend could end up as their other half. Back when they were kids, life randomly put them together. but it took the second time around to make it work.
I also can’t help but noticed that both sides of the family are also super endearing to each other. It is true what they say, “ you are not losing a daughter, but gain a son in law.” That’s a really nice sentiment that put such a bittersweet note to Jimmy and Lydia’s union. The same also applies to Jimmy’s family, embracing Lydia as their new family member.
