The wedding of Binsar and Grecia is one of the most refreshing photo sessions I’ve had in a while. I have always loved the chance to capture weddings of all kinds, particularly the ones that are superbly rich and intricate in traditions. So sacred ceremonial affairs and cultural unions are just the things that me and my camera live for.
The morning started with a deep and intimate embrace by both sets of parents. Binsar exchanging manly handshake and hug with his father, followed by a kiss by his mom. Similarly, Grecia too had her tender moments with her folks. I could immediately tell that both of them are family persons.
I also learned that Binsar and Grecia were highschool sweethearts, dating for over 10 years before tying the knot. It was apparent in the way that they interact with one another, there was a sense of mutual respect, love and understanding. And everything was further heightened by the festivities and traditional vibes that only a Bataknese wedding has to offer.
The merriment of the wedding was a mix of vibrant colors and youthful spirit. The modern flair combined with the glamour of heritage display which created an eventful and beautiful party for all to enjoy. Both couple and their friends went all out as the clock ticked away with delight. All the while Binsar and Grecia celebrated without any inhibition, enjoying the day that they finally became one
