The short version of how Ferdie and Stephanie met is quite simple. He visited the office where she worked as a secretary, sparks flew, and a couple was born.
But in even the simplest love story, therein lies greatness, obstacles, excitement, and more. And this too is true in the case of our couple, Ferdie and Stephanie.
When Ferdie saw Stephanie, he made the first move. Now that took courage, I don’t know about you guys, but I always think that the act of asking a girl out or even making the first move is not a small feat- no matter how confident a guy you are. There’s always a possibility of being shot down, hard and on the spot. Yikes!
They did go out and tried to get to know each other during the time, which took honesty and a lot of efforts too. If you’ve been in a courting period, you know just how much of an uncertainty it could be. Getting to know another person from scratch or trying on a new relationship can be quite stressful because while exciting, there’s this new whole exploration that you set out to embark. You’re investing a lot of your time, thought, finance and so on.
It turned out that Stephanie was not exactly looking to settle at that moment. In fact, she was in the midst of preparing for her further studies in Jakarta. If this is a movie, this will be the exact moment of crossroad. Does she cross it or does she turn back? Well, we all knew the ending to the story of Ferdie and Stephanie, because she did more than turning back, she stayed and accepted his hands in marriage.
And they lived happily ever after, but not before going on a pre-wedding journey that’s proven to be so graceful, beautiful and memorable for the two. Congrats again, Ferdie and Stephanie. You sure made a beautiful couple 🙂
