Ask any couple what kind of wedding they want, and their answers might vary. Some love the modern elegance theme, others maybe prefer the classic romance vibe and more. But whatever their choices may be, everyone wants to have their own kind of wedding. The more different, the better. The anti-mainstream vibe is real when it comes to wedding.

But it doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s natural for human to want to be special, especially for the most important event of their lives. And for us photographers, this only means that the challenge is set for us. From location, angle, style, and more, we all have to deliver something distinct for our clients.

It’s safe to say that everyone here at Sheers celebrates this unique concept to the fullest. I am not an exception when it comes to trying to outdo myself in bringing different flavors for my clients. I am also very lucky because most of my clients are the kinds who have faith in our work, Louis and Serviana were no exception.

For their wedding, we started off with a venue that probably made you wonder if this was shot in Bali. Their choice to rent out a villa with tropical style was proven to be effective in bringing up the best mood for the day. I loved that there’s this magical and dreamy mood, all happening in the cool shade and colors of the sun and waters.

It was an honor to have their total trust as they put me in charge of all the creative visuals. What a documentary it was as love and friendship came together to celebrate the union of our fine couple here. Browsing through all these results reminded me again how amazing these peeps were, very easy going, friendly and collected. They deserved every display of happiness and we hope that these memories – unique and special in their own way – serve them well, for many many years to come.
