What do you get when you’re traveling with a couple of 14 years’ history to Florence Italy? A lot of fun and a ton of romance of course!
Meet Joel and Novita. No they’re not vampires and yes we know they look so beautifully young and in love. Having been dating since highschool does that to you. These lovebirds have been together since day one, getting through college, career, different locations, life and basically, everything really.
This couple began their “very-Florence” prewedding journey right at the Cathedral Square of Piazza del Duomo. Located right at the heart of the city, we got a great head start in this beyond stunning building. The architecture told a vivid story that only highlight the glamorous side of Joel & Novita. One could spend hours and hours here, but we headed to our next destination that is just as mesmerizing and wonderful, The Giardino Bardini Garden.
After the marvel of intricate details of the main square, the nature welcomed us in the most refreshing way. It’s a relaxing day where the views and flowers serenaded the two in celebration of their love. In the distance, Piazzale Michaelangelo decorated the skyline side by side the panoramic Florence in full bloom. Fascinating was simply an understatement for us all!
As the sunset drew in, Novita changed to her fiery red gown and went to show. Ponte Vecchio bear witness to our couple’s romance as they strutted and posed in the medieval stone-close arch bridge overlooking the Arno River. We called it a night and with hearts full of satisfaction, waited excitedly for an even more promising session the next day at Cinque Terre.
The mood was light and casual as Joel and Novita dressed down to the occasion. It’s time for Monterroso which is probably the most charming village in Cinque Terre. The lovely warm weather added that cozy tropical mood for us all and love was definitely in the air that day. Still in the region, Vernazza was next on the list. This quiet and calm fishing village boasts a natural port of Cinque Terre where white sandy beach, blue waters and elegant houses became the center of our focus.
Last but not least, we enjoyed the second sunset at the Manarola, a colorful dreamy seaside village. Atop the sheer cliff overlooking the village landscape and Ligurian Sea, it was the perfect last destination to seal Joel and Novita’s love story to the complete finish.
During the 2-day session, I learned a lot watching the dynamics and chemistry of our couple. Novita is a lady with strong room presence, very confident and independent in her own ways. But it’s plain to see that she holds a lot of adoration and love for Joel, a man strong enough to hold her capacity and challenges her to grow.
What a splendid prewedding journey it has been, and it’s truly a blessing for me personally to experience it all. That being said, a hearty congratulations again to this couple and a big thank you for making this my favorite photography session ever.
