There Is one quote that came into my mind the moment I laid eyes on baby Austine.
‘’daughters are like flowers, they fill the world with beauty”. And I couldn’t agree more! With her pink tiny little fingers and tiny little toes, baby Austine looks just like a rosebud to me. Babies have always fascinate me, with their innocent eyes, chubby cheeks and fresh powdery scent. They fascinate me so much that I decided to take a certificate III in early childhood education just to learn more about their minds. But I am learning that being a baby photographer is very different from being a child educator.
I know that a baby can recognise their own mother right away after birth, I know that babies have natural aquatic instincts, and I know how the way parents interact with their baby will help them set a basis in how they will connect with others too in the future. I feel like I know a lot about babies but as a new baby photographer I did not know what to expect during a newborn photoshoot. Despite my nervousness I was completely sure that I am going to enjoy myself and get lost in the process, and I was right!
Baby Austine was a complete delight to shoot and I just melt every time I see her different expressions. The whole process took about 5 hours but it felt like only an hour has gone by. Now that I have experienced my first lead project in shooting Newborn I already cant wait for my next one.
