United Handoko & Zesselyn by Juvenco

It’s hard not to turn into a puddle of emotions when one of your own is getting married, and this one belongs to our beloved Sheerss member, Zesslyn. Having met her prince aka Handoko, it was the beginning of a wonderful journey of a couple who is truly made for each other.

Throwing back to their vibrant and busy wedding, it’s a walk down memory lane that’s filled with all kinds of emotions for sure. It still feels as clear as day to see her looking absolutely stunning, from day to night, celebrating a momentous milestone with the man of her life.

Personally, this reel is such an enjoyable treat especially for a documentary style wedding photographer like me. It’s like a collection of story pages where each turn gets you more and more excited for the next. And just like storybook too, this is an album that consists of all the best favorite moments of the event and nothing less.

Despite the fact that it was a grey-cloudy day with a chance of rain, the mood stayed as lively as it was warm. The day started with Zesselyn and her bridesmaids, dolling up and putting on finishing touches to their hair and makeup. A short photo session at AdiMulia hotel would follow suit, along with the ceremony and more celebrations that ended the evening on a sweet mood.

Having my fair share of wedding photography, over 450 weddings to be precise, I can safely say that I know a loving couple by heartbeat. Zesslyn and Handoko share that kind of magical chemistry that is touching, thoughtful, funny and deeply emotional. There is respect and mutual adoration there that you can’t help but root for them.

Clearly, we’re not the only ones who feel that way. Even the weather agreed and blessed this couple by staying absolutely rain free from morning till night during their wedding day. When even the stars align for your love story, what else can we say but a few good wishes of a happy and harmonious life for one of our favorite couples, Zesellyn and Handoko.
