Growing up I have always wondered what it will be like picking out my own wedding dress. Last month I had the opportunity to experience first-hand a glimpse of what its like to do just that. For our Valentine’s Day Campaign we collaborated with Stella Shen for the gowns and it was incredibly hard for me to choose just two dresses amongst all the dreamy pastel dresses. We finally decided on a flirty pink fluffy dress which hands just below the knee, giving it a playful valentine’s day vibe. The other dress was a muted beige, with layers and layers of intricate fabric draping and flowing into the floor, which gives off a more romantic and mature aura. I loved both dresses equally and I think both represents the season of love perfectly – because Valentine’s day is full of romance, flirty banters, daydreams and love.
We collaborated with Catherine as our muse and I have to say she was the perfect choice for the theme, with her tall frame and sweet smile. We also collaborated with The Beaura for the props (marble trays and cards) and they just add a little bit more of sweetness and dreaminess into the photoshoot.
I have to say this may be one of my favourite shoot of all time. Anyone who knows me I am a big advocate of love ( which was the main theme of the shoot), my favourite colour is pink (which was the main colour of the shoot), I get to work with wedding dresses, and the results turned out so airy and ethereal, just the way I wanted.
