Jeni went to Malaysia to continue her junior high during the 1990’s crisis. It was then she met Gary, her prince charming. By then, they have known each other for quite some time, but not until during college they started to talk to each other. Why?

Language. Gary didn’t know a lot of Hokkian and only speaks English, Malay. The other way around, Jeni spoke Hokkian and only speaks a little English and poor Malay. Fated to fall for one another, they met during college and Gary started to pursue Jeni. Lovebirds of the century!

Then Gary decided to pop the “question” *mystical voice*. Jeni was on the bed sleeping, when Gary like a cute snail, sneaked under the pillow and reaching for Jeni’s face, with a ring behind his hand and he popped the question. No girl would say no to a snuggly boy like Gary. So she said yes!
