Our last shoot of the year was to welcome Daniel and Juliana! Often when we hear of Christmas, we usually think of white snow covered all over the places. However for us, Indonesians, Christmas consists of random days of slight drops of rain in usual sunny skies. Therefore, we tried to create a winter elopement setting with tones of white + silver with a Christmas tree!
We couldn’t resist bringing a tree to the beach. Tree stood tall in the foreground waves, covered in silver and metallic ornaments. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without silver wrapped gifts with custom gift tags sat under the tree on the sand. Just a right way for a perfect Christmas elopement. Well, it could be more perfect with snow along the way. So we did that by using InstaSnow.
Quite a lot of local people wouldn’t understand the true meaning of how a mistletoe works, so I would like to take this chance to share it with the couples out there who celebrate Christmas. What you do with a mistletoe is hang it on the ceiling, and when a guy stand under the mistletoe with a girl, the guy gets to kiss the girl.
